Impressions fine, clicks not? One likely reason: content pointed at the wrong kind of keywords. Pinterest searches come in two kinds: - Shopping searches bring back a wall of product listings โ the person came to buy. - Idea searches bring back guides, blog posts and room shots โ they came to plan. Both are huge: Pinterest reports 80 billion+ searches a month, roughly half of them commercial. BUT...Point a product page at an idea search, or a blog post at a shopping search, and you're the wrong kind of result for that search, meaning you won't rank. Better design doesn't change that. Do this today: take the five keywords you most want to rank on and open Keyword Research in Tailwind, where every keyword carries a shopping-intent score (the cart icon shows for shopping keywords) so you can quickly identify which queries map to which type of content results. A mismatch needs a different keyword target, not a full rewrite. Replace the target keyword in the content on your page, then try some new Pins with the keyword across the Pin title, description and text overlay, if any. Make this part of your planning for new content before you write and you'll start seeing results tick up. Want to learn more first? Read the guide โ โ P.S. - Which keyword surprised you?
