A free, public archive of the emails B2B SaaS companies send, kept so that anyone can see what real products actually mail their users.

Why it exists

Search for “welcome email examples” and you get listicles: ten screenshots someone picked years ago, half of them broken, none of them current. The emails themselves are the primary source, and nobody was keeping them. This does.

Where the emails come from

Every email here arrived by signing up to the product with an address that belongs to this archive. Nothing is scraped from anyone’s inbox and nothing is forwarded by a third party. What you see is what a real new user of that product sees, which is the only reason the archive is worth reading.

Emails are stored as received, then sanitised before display: scripts and remote assets are stripped, tracking pixels never load, and unsubscribe and account links are neutralised so that viewing an archived email cannot act on anyone’s behalf. The rendered version you see is served inside a sandbox with scripting disabled.

What it is not

• Not curated. There is no editor picking the good ones. The archive is chronological and tries to be complete, which is the whole claim.
• Not a ranking. No hearts, no “popular”, no staff picks. An email being here is not an endorsement of it.
• Not affiliated with any product listed. Brand names and logos identify whose email you are looking at and belong to their owners.

Who runs it

newslettersearchengine is built and operated by Popupsmart Inc, a company incorporated in the State of Delaware, United States. We build software for marketing teams, which is how we came to care what good lifecycle mail looks like — and to notice that nobody was keeping it.

A micro-project of Popupsmart Inc — built and kept by the same small team, alongside the product they actually sell. Nobody here is a full-time archivist: the people whose names appear on the notes are the same people who build and support that product, contributing to this alongside it. That is also why the notes are short and stick to what was counted — it is the part a busy person can stand behind.

The archive is free and carries no advertising. It is not a lead magnet with a gate behind it: there is nothing to sign up for and nothing being sold on these pages.

If an email should not be here

Anyone can ask for a removal and it does not require a lawyer or an argument. Use the removal form; requests are actioned first and reviewed after.
