Pinterest Trends shows "christmas gift ideas for mom" up 200% and "christmas gift basket ideas" up 100% month over month (US, week of Oct 5). Last year the steep climb started the second week of November and peaked in the two weeks before Christmas. New Pins take a few weeks to get found. Publish this week and they're in the running for the peak. Publish in December and they mostly pay off next year.
