Updates to Productboard’s Terms of Service effective September 1, 2026

Dear Valued Customer, 
 We're writing to let you know about several updates to Productboard taking effect on September 1, 2026. 
 Here's a summary of the changes: 
 - Spark will become a core part of the Productboard platform for all customers, and you will be subject to Productboard's AI Terms. 
- The following subprocessors, previously listed as optional, will become required subprocessors as of September 1: Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google Vertex AI for core AI features, Snowflake for our internal data warehouse, and FoundryLabs as a sandbox environment for AI agents. 
- We are adding the following subprocessors: Amplitude, Inc. (United States) for product analytics, Vespa.AI Norway AS (United States and European Union) for search and indexing infrastructure, and Stigg for billing and monetization infrastructure. We’re adding Braintrust as an optional subprocessor for evaluation and observability for AI features. 
- MotherDuck has been removed from our subprocessor list as we no longer use this service. 
- Our online agreements have been updated to reflect these changes: www.productboard.com/legal/ 
 All new and updated subprocessors have been verified to meet Productboard's security and privacy standards and are subject to Productboard's data processing terms. Productboard will not use your Customer Property to train or fine-tune our own or any third-party AI models. Per your Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with Productboard, we are required to notify you 30 days prior to appointing new subprocessors. 
 We'll follow up next week with more detail on what this means for your account and how to get the most out of Spark.
