Sharing an update to our Terms of Service

Hi. Thank you for being a Fin customer. 

 Every so often we update our Terms of Service <https://em.intercom.com/MjU4LUNMVy0zNDQAAAGkIIdy32kvudH6yfa9iZEhTbnzwL3Fo1wZ-8Z5Y5LsCQIuHOCn6wAaohnFPXW-jCTK57d9msQ=>, and today we’re sharing the latest. Transparency is tremendously important to us, so below we’ll walk you through these changes to make sure they’re as easy as possible to understand. 

 As a part of our AI model work, we’ve shared <https://em.intercom.com/MjU4LUNMVy0zNDQAAAGkIIdy32wCW5Uvz3WYnfcX9uamODRadzjphGt3eogDAveFBorWJ82J2Hh3H1qG9xH7GdNjEbE=> previously the care we take in handling your data and that we’ll always use your customer data responsibly in the training of our models. We’re updating our Terms of Service to elaborate and clarify how we improve our Services by using customer data for AI model training. 

 We are not making any changes or introducing any new rights relating to use of data or model training with this update:

We continue to de-identify customer data before using it to fine-tune and train our AI models.

	- 

There’s no change to existing customer opt-outs. If you’ve already opted out of the use of your data for AI model training, your opt-out will continue to apply (there is no action required from you).

You can opt-out at any time as follows:

Customers on negotiated contracts can submit an opt-out request via their sales representative and/or by emailing legal@fin.ai <https://em.intercom.com/MjU4LUNMVy0zNDQAAAGkIIdy32t1Xcm85Y76jLAy13rViKYpnXo6nnlRBFW1ySEGCD5kc901tKG3WNhuRq405uShroY=>.

Additionally, we’re making some other Terms of Service updates to:

Describe the scope of Permitted User access to the services by Developers.

Define the time period that a Customer can continue to access its customer data after their subscription ends.




These updates will take effect for you on October 8, 2026.
