With this series of emails, we, Michael and Steffen, founders of Capacities, would like to share some personal thoughts, insightful key moments, and concepts with you to help you get started with Capacities. We think it's worth it, but of course, you can unsubscribe at any point. Capacities is a tool that helps us make the most out of all the information we consume every day. It helps us think more clearly and build a place around our thoughts and ideas to be less distracted, more creative and make the most out of our work. We call it a Studio for your Mind . In the following days, we'll explore what this looks like exactly. In the meantime, feel free to explore Capacities. Key moment: daily notes + WhatsApp integration The first feature is a fan favorite, very simple and surprisingly powerful. Have you ever emailed or texted yourself wanting to jot something down before you forget your thought? If you have, you’ll know you need to then go and process that idea wherever it was sent. But what if we told you that you can text Capacities directly and your texts will appear in your daily note? 🤯 You can send thoughts straight to your daily note via WhatsApp or Telegram. Waiting for coffee? Text yourself an idea. On a walk? Voice note it. Everything lands in today's note, timestamped and ready to process later. 💬 Try it: Open Capacities and click on today's date to see your daily note. Then set up your WhatsApp integration in Settings to start capturing on the go. Top tip: if you’re on iOS you can make a shortcut to text Capacities via WhatsApp so you can quickly capture fleeting thoughts without even having to open WhatsApp. ⚡ We hope this was helpful!
