Fast capture of ideas and sharing of work. Make Capacities useful every day Hi @there, Today’s key moment is a good one (although we like to think they’re all good!), and it’s a truly delightful moment. You'll be working on something, maybe researching a topic or starting a new project. You'll search or browse your notes, and suddenly a note that you write months ago reappears. A thought you forgot you had. And it's exactly what you need. 🤩 This is what happens when you stop organizing your notes and start connecting. Your notes become a network. Ideas link to ideas. And over time, your past thinking starts working for your present self. Top tip: unlinked mentions surface notes that are relevant but that you haven’t connected yet, so truly nothing can slip through the cracks! 😮💨 It doesn't happen on day one. But it will happen. And when it does, you'll understand why we built Capacities this way. This is why we’re asking you to forget what you know about note-taking. Because in Capacities you don’t ever need to organize your notes, or remember where you put things. Just keep capturing and keep connecting. The magic compounds. 🌱 A personal note While this approach might be strange initially, and you might wonder if you'll ever find your content again, we promise: you'll tremendously benefit from it in the long run. Imagine you have thousands of notes. Do you really think you'll remember the folder you stored that note in? Or is it simpler to jump into a topic and click through relationships to get the information you need? Trust the system – you'll never want to go back again. Tomorrow we will share some final insights on getting started with Capacities. Best, Steffen Open Capacities This email is part of the Capacities onboarding series.
