Plus seven more Productboard updates — new document layouts, sharing controls, and Setup page improvements. [Image] Use any board as context for Spark [Image] A core tenet of Productboard’s AI-first experience is that much of what once required configuring a board should now be possible through natural language prompting. But sometimes visualizing information on a board that you can directly manipulate is still the best way to work. That led us to ask: why not both? Spark can now see what you see on any board, including the filters and configurations you’ve applied. This was already available for the boards you build yourself, like grid, columns, and timeline boards. Now it also covers the system boards Productboard creates for you, like Opportunities, Findings, Companies, Objectives, and Initiatives, found under Home and Library in the main navigation. Open Spark beside any of these boards and it automatically picks up the full context, answering questions, summarizing plans, surfacing what’s at risk, or updating data based on what’s showing. No need to describe the board first. Learn more [Image] Get more out of Productboard, step by step The new Productboard Setup page shows how well your workspace is configured across the product management lifecycle. For every stage, connect other tools you’re using and discover new ways to use Spark. Alongside these updates, makers can also now request admin approval to connect new tools. Learn more [Image] Contributors can create documents Contributors can now create their own documents in any teamspace where they have edit access, or in their personal space. They can also prompt Spark to create docs, allowing designers, researchers, and engineers to capture Spark-generated analysis and outputs. Learn more [Image] Share docs and boards with any teamspace Now you can share documents and boards with all the right collaborators, even from your personal space or a closed or private teamspace. Share with specific people, a teamspace, or the whole workspace, and define the level of access for each. Learn more More features & enhancements Mention entities within a scheduled automation When defining a scheduled automation for Spark, type @ to reference a specific entity, just as you would in a Spark prompt. It means you can set clear instructions with reliable results, such as which planning board to use or which initiatives to keep up to date. Enhanced flow for mentioning entities Now it’s easier to @ mention the right entity in a document or Spark prompt. When searching for an entity, you can now filter by category (features, customers, workspace members, boards, and more) before proceeding with your search. Select a filter chip, or begin typing the category’s name and press Enter or Tab to apply it. Multi-column document layouts Documents and specifications now support multi-column layouts. Find these options in the / menu, or by selecting an entire block and choosing from the new column options under Change to. New formatting for content blocks When editing documents and specifications, you can now update a content block’s text color, background color, or border color, or leave a comment on it, without needing to highlight text within the block first.
