Hi Emre, You may have seen news about recent security vulnerabilities disclosed in PHP, Node.js, and Go, as well as reports about security issues affecting some Shopify checkout apps. We want to reach out proactively to let you know that Octane AI is not affected by either. We don’t use PHP, Node.js, or Go in production. No part of the platform that serves your store depends on them, and you don’t need to take any action. No credential rotation, no theme changes, no reinstall needed. Regarding the reports about Shopify checkout apps specifically: Octane AI doesn’t modify checkout code and doesn’t have a checkout extension. The only thing we run near the checkout is a web pixel. It runs inside Shopify’s strict sandbox and can’t access any customer payment information. We reviewed our infrastructure and found no evidence of unauthorized access to our systems or your store data. As part of our ongoing commitment to security, we are also conducting a thorough internal security review of our platform and infrastructure. We believe that regularly examining and strengthening our security posture is essential, even when no direct vulnerability has been identified. Octane AI continues to operate normally. We will keep monitoring developments closely and will reach out promptly if we identify anything that may affect you. If you have any questions, just reply to this email. The Octane AI Team
