What about live information? Current news, real-time data, or things that change every day? You can give your Al access to outside tools, like a web search, so it can look things up when it doesn't have the answer.

**Add Google Search to Your Workflow:**

Hover over a connection line on your canvas and click the + to insert a new node.


- 

Select Tool and search for Google Search. Click Install.


- 

Follow the guide and configure the node to authorize external web access.


- 

In the node settings, set the query variable to the question or input which AI is trying to answer.

Back on Day 4, we showed you how to give your AI a "brain" using an Agent Node. This is where that concept truly shines! Instead of hard-coding a Google Search step that runs for every single query, you can use an **Agent Node** and equip it with the Search tool. Pick an agent strategy you learned, the Agent will autonomously decide whether it actually needs to search the web based on the user's question.
