What's something about yourself you'd rather your audience didn't know? Maybe it's a weird habit, or a mistake you still make even though you're supposed to be the expert. You might worry that sharing it will make people take you less seriously. But the parts you want to hide are often the ones that make people connect with you. Think about two fitness newsletters. One sends "10 Tips for Hitting Your Macros." The other comes from a coach who admits she still eats gas-station donuts on road trips, then shares how she plans for them. Both might teach you something useful. But which coach are you more likely to remember? And if you needed help with your fitness goals, who would you feel more comfortable buying from? That's the idea behind Russell Brunson's Attractive Character, a concept he teaches in Expert Secrets. It's the version of you that your audience gets to know and trust. And you don't have to share your whole life story to build it. One small detail is often enough, like a lesson you learned the hard way. So what have you been leaving out? Pick one thing that ties back to what you teach or sell. Then work it into your next email or post. People can learn from anyone. Give them a reason to remember you. The ClickFunnels Team
