Over the past few weeks we've been working on giving your agent more powerful tools both inside the app and with external agents,
starting with browser use. We've also shipped product improvements for common workflows like multiple windows in the desktop app
and exporting designs as images.

Let your agent browse for you.

In the desktop app, your agent can open pages in a browser tab, click, fill in forms and scroll while you watch, and you can take
control at any time. Ask it to capture a flow and every step comes back as an editable design.

Bring your own tools.

Connect your Claude Code or Codex subscription in the desktop app and the agent loads your own MCP servers, skills, plugins and
CLAUDE.md or AGENTS.md, so it works with the same setup you use in the terminal.

Give your agent better taste.

Your agent can search a hand-picked library of real, unique landing pages to steer a design away from the defaults. Works
out-of-the-box in the desktop app, or with Claude, Codex or Cursor using the MCP.

What changed

 
 * Folders for components, groups for projects. Create a folder for components or group projects for easier navigation. Component
   folders work with Subframe MCP.

 * Export designs as images. Save pages, components and snippets as PNG, JPG, WebP or PDF from the Export tab. Works with Subframe
   MCP.

 * Light and dark interface. Set Subframe to light, dark or your system setting, separately from your project's theme.

 * Multiple windows. In the desktop app, choose File → New Window or press ⌘⇧N to work in parallel across projects and chats.

 * Continue from another agent. Bring a conversation over from Claude, Codex, Cursor or Conductor and pick up where you left off
   in agent chat.

 * Edit components across pages. Select the same component on different pages of a canvas and change its properties at once from
   the inspector panel.




Fixes & improvements

 
 * Performance. Subframe opens faster, and hovering and selecting on a large canvas is quicker.

 * Agent chat. Desktop chats are more reliable across network drops and sleep, and stopping an agent keeps what the agent already
   did.

 * Browser capture. Fonts, tables, charts and gradients in captured designs match the original page more closely.

 * Generated designs. Fixed designs rendering empty or as code, and images crop properly.

 * Canvas. Duplicate pages are added next to the original, and sharing a link opens the selected page on canvas.
