Create your first Heatmap in Crazy Egg

Hey there - once you’ve installed Crazy Egg, you’ll have access to Heatmaps showing what visitors are doing on your website (and how to improve results):

- Scrollmap: Most visitors lose interest before scrolling down your page. See which parts of your page get attention, so you know to put important content there.
- Heatmap: Identify which messages get high engagement. Make them bigger, higher up, more obvious.
- Confetti Map: Great for filtering data. Look at where you’re getting rage clicks and dead clicks, which indicate your visitors wanted something (but couldn’t get it from you).
- Overlay Map: See not just how many people clicked each element, but what kinds of users. New or returning visitors? Traffic from ads or social media? Maybe you should double down on certain marketing channels.
- List Map: See the numbers on which elements got high engagement. Great if you’re more analytical than visual.
