Our third update of 2026 — which we’re calling Florence — is out now. Open Sketch to update, or download the latest version

As ever, you’ll find a full set of release notes for this update over on the Changelog
[https://www.sketch.com/changelog/florence/], but here are the two big highlights:
 




Stacks: min/max size, negative spacing, and more

You can now set minimum and maximum sizes for stacks and stack items, and give items a relative (%) size so layouts stay
proportional as content changes.
Spacing between stack items can now have negative values, and there's a new option to choose the z-index order of overlapping
items. You can also choose whether Stacks include borders in their layout calculations.
Along with ticking off these big stacks requests, we’ve made plenty of smaller Stacks improvements, including tidying Canvas
controls and improving how we handle stacks in the Inspector.

Expanded effects and shadows support

We now support effects and shadows in more places. You can apply blurs — layer, motion, or zoom — to groups, add multiple drop
shadows to frames without fills or groups, and apply glass and fade effects simultaneously to any layer.
When you apply a fade effect to a layer, we now take its existing opacity into account, and we’ve improved performance for
rendering multiple shadows and effects at once.
