We're also previewing a rebuilt Assistant ( https://scite.ai/assistant?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=2026_10_product_newsletter&utm_content=inline_link ) that reaches well beyond papers, and Scite now comes in dark mode.

Keep your files in your Collections

Collections now hold your files alongside your papers and notes. Upload protocols, drafts, data exports, slides, and figures, and keep them next to the evidence they relate to.

* *Most file types.* PDFs, Office files, CSVs, Markdown, HTML, and images, up to 25 MB each. Every file is scanned on upload.
* *Shared with your team.* Colleagues on a shared Collection can access your files. Public links never show them.
* *Saved by your AI assistant.* Through Scite MCP, Claude and ChatGPT can save summaries, evidence matrices, and drafts into a Collection, and read your files back.

We're previewing a rebuilt Scite Assistant, available now for individual accounts. Institutional accounts will follow.

* *Pick your model.* Let Auto choose, or select one yourself.
* *Answers you can work with.* Tables when a comparison helps, clickable references, and the option to edit a question and regenerate.
* *Tell us what you think.* Rate any response with a thumbs up or down. Your feedback shapes what we build next.

Open your account menu and, under Theme, choose Light, Dark, or System. System follows your device's setting and switches when your device does. Scite remembers your choice.
