A lot of these updates from platforms are overdue, and getting paid in 30 days will feel like a small miracle to any creator who has chased an invoice into its fourth month. The bigger change is where the deal actually happens. Finding a creator, pitching them, approving the post, paying them, and putting ad dollars behind it can now all happen inside one app, and that app belongs to the platform selling you the audience. Each platform is building a full creator ecosystem, because the creators who stay are the ones who keep audiences coming back. Creators run real businesses now, and one creator selling for a brand on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram is juggling three partnerships in three different apps. Every platform wants to be the one place that business runs. It's one ring to rule them all, and the winner has to work for brands and creators alike, because a program that frustrates either side ends up losing both. We're calling TikTok One Pay our stand-out pick of the month, because it competes on the creator side of that experience. Slow payment is one of the oldest complaints in creator marketing, and it shapes which creators say yes to which brands. Paying within 30 days with no fees makes TikTok an easier place to run a creator business, and a paycheck that shows up on time is a pretty persuasive pitch. - Why it matters: In [IAB's updated 2026 ad spend outlook](https://www.iab.com/news/iab-raises-2026-u-s-ad-spend-forecast/), 54% of buyers named creator and influencer ads as a format they're focusing on, the highest share of any format on the list. The platforms read that report too. Brands that can compare results across every platform will move budget toward what's working, while everyone else ends up trusting whichever app sends the nicest report. - How we see it: The platform that wins this race will be the one where brands and creators both want to stay. Until then, your creator program should span multiple channels and multiple types of creators, with some building awareness, some holding attention, and some bringing the authority that gets people to buy. The brands that come out ahead will run all three across every app where their audience spends time. The last word: The platforms made creator deals easier to buy, so the edge now belongs to brands that know how to partner with the right creators, wherever they're building. What's Trending [Creators want to be bought like TV.](https://digiday.com/future-of-tv/some-creators-want-to-negotiate-deals-like-tv-networks/) IAB, Walmart, and Forbes are all hosting creator upfronts, and London held Europe's first on September 17. The tricky part is supply, since creator inventory is basically unlimited and spread across thousands of channels.
