Once installed, here are some tips for getting started.

1. Create your app
------------------

*encore app create* creates your application and lets you start from a few example apps.

2. Run your app
---------------

*encore run* is the only command you need to start your local development environment, including setting up all the necessary infrastructure. (Keep in mind you need to have Docker ( https://docker.com/?utm_campaign=website&utm_medium=email&utm_source=sendgrid.com ) running when using databases.)

It also sets up your local developer dashboard with tools like:

* API Explorer
* Distributed Tracing & Test Tracing
* Flow architecture diagram

3. Deploy your app
------------------

*git push encore* deploys your app to the cloud. By default it deploys to a staging environment using Encore Cloud's free development hosting. You can also connect your own cloud ( https://encore.dev/docs/platform/infrastructure/own-cloud?utm_campaign=website&utm_medium=email&utm_source=sendgrid.com ) to deploy to your AWS or GCP.

When you deploy, you get access to the Cloud Dashboard with DevOps tools like Preview Environments, Infrastructure Monitoring, Service Catalog, Metrics, Tracing, and more.
